in Question Period, I asked the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions if the government will commit to funding an addictions treatment centre in the Cowichan Valley.
As the minister points out, there has been a response to harm reduction, but that’s not enough. Every community, including Cowichan, needs infrastructure in place to support long-term solutions to help heal people living with addictions.
