I rose to comment on the point of order MLA De Jong made in the house today, which challenged the Speaker’s directive on language use. We have school groups coming into the gallery whose teachers aren’t bringing them back because they are dismayed by the behaviour they are seeing. We can hold the government to account by debating ideas and policy rather than engaging in name calling.
Let’s focus on creating resilient communities.
